Ah, the new year has begun, 2011. Are you as excited as I am?
By the end of the year I always begin a review of everything I've read and watched over the last year, then I make my top ten lists. I know, top tens lists pop up everywhere, but I enjoy looking back over the year, remembering which movie was the best, and which book captured me, inspired me, what was the best experience of last year.
Though some years I barely watch enough movies to make a top ten list, I always have plenty of books to pick my favorites from. I also really enjoy checking other peoples top tens to see what I may have missed, what hidden gems I have yet to enjoy.
Wherein the adventures of two cousins is told to a very unlikely group of pernicious and/or prefabricated

Lackscroft and Roe-- Poets Extraordinarie.

Quotes . . .
Real quotes from the manuscript. . .
I went searching from some interested quotes about geese and these are a few I discovered.
"When suddenly out of the middle of nowhere came this awful honking and flapping; dozens of geese came flying over the hill right down on top of us."
"Geese!! What shall they think of next? Whatever do you raise geese for? It sounds silly to me."
"It is rumored the Golden Goose is cursed. Better to leave things alone that want to be left alone, they say."
I found this photo in my archives, and I've decided to call it 'Geese behind Bars'. Oh dear, what did they do to get locked up like this. Well, you know geese are such troublemakers.
